My name is Jake Morcom and I am a first year BA Media student. This is my first practical media subject and I am hoping it provides me with some direction and insight in regards to the media field I hope to pursue. Currently I have a great interest in music production, radio and film, so throughout the subject I aim to narrow down my interests and focus on a specific area in greater detail. One thing I'd like to get more out of my uni experience is to become more involved in Campus life and events, and to have more fun during my time here (let's party lol). I've enjoyed my first year so far and look forward to what the rest of the course has to offer.
The girl in this video Miranda Sings really has nothing to do with media, or this post or blog at all. Basically, I find her hilarious and I thought would be a great addition to my first post, for no reason other than to exhibit myself through someone else.
